Job Purpose In this role, this individual will be responsible for creating marketing and content for altafiber that motivates our audience to engage with us and ultimately results in purchasing our products and services. The focus of this position is driving leads via tactics such as the blog and website, as well as supporting upsell programs to the existing customer base. The candidate should be comfortable with creating written content for our target audience and promoting the content through various channels.

Essential Functions

Content strategy - execution: work with Manager to develop and execute content strategy for the company; create, implement and analyze content on altafiber Digital Marketing Mgr II 's digital channels to increase awareness of the company brand and support company initiatives; promote content to the various channels at our disposal, including blogs and website; create engaging copy, images, and video content; develop optimal posting schedule; identify content topics of interest to our audience and maintain a content calendar that maps out all future publications; work with internal stakeholders to develop content plans; stay up-to-date with changes in all digital platforms to ensure maximum effectiveness.

Content development: 10% Website production – assist with content updates to enhance and improve the overall customer experience.

Other functions: manage and report on the status of KPI's for assigned programs and tactics.

Experience

3 to 5 years of experience; at least 1 year of marketing, campaign, and content experience in a corporate setting.

Ability to deliver high-quality content, paying attention to detail while staying on top of the content calendar.

Strong verbal and written communication skills; project management skills are a must.

Understanding how to manage the priorities of multiple stakeholders in a complex environment and focus on the delivery of results in the form of engagement, leads, and sales.

Experience creating content in similar settings is a plus.

Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and graphics.

Education Four years of college resulting in a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.

Special Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

Must be an action-oriented person who is willing to test completely new approaches, learn from failures, and continue to improve.

Must have experience copywriting, creative content development and editing; must have proofreading brand and customer-facing content.

Must have experience managing a Content Management System (CMS) such as Kentico, Adobe, or WordPress.

Experience with HTML/CSS – nice to have.

Experience with Search Engine Optimization (SEO) techniques; nice-to-have.

Nice-to-have: Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Acrobat, Photoshop, etc.).

Nice-to-have: Experience with Google Analytics.

Nice-to-have: Experience with a marketing automation platform such as HubSpot.

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.).

Ability to provide a sample of work showcasing a variety of creative writing experience within print and digital platforms is a plus.
