Direct Support Professional - Day Program
Join our dynamic team at DDRC in Arvada, CO, as a full‑time Direct Support Professional in our Day Program. Compensation
Rate of pay: $20.00 per hour
Medical benefits: $30 per month for an individual (opportunity to add dependents), $500 deductible, 100% covered thereafter

Providing support in both facility and community settings
Assisting with personal hygiene and health needs
Coaching essential life skills
Organizing engaging activities that promote social interaction
Helping individuals navigate their desires throughout the day
What matters most To excel as a Direct Support Professional at DDRC, a variety of essential skills and qualifications are necessary:
High school diploma or GED required
Strong preference for candidates with at least one year of paid work or related volunteer experience, particularly with individuals with developmental disabilities
Empathy and a genuine passion for supporting others
Current driver’s license with a clean motor vehicle record; transportation in a company vehicle is part of the role
Willingness to drive a large van/bus
Physical stamina: ability to stand, pivot, and transfer up to 75 pounds
Basic computer skills to aid in necessary documentation
Most importantly, a willingness to learn, a problem‑solving mindset, and a compassionate spirit are essential traits that will empower you to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you serve.
