Position:
Travel Licensed Practical Nurse, LPN PRN
Pay:
$20 / hr. - $35 / hr. Depending on Experience and Responsibilities
Location:
Central Tennessee (regional travel)
Responsibilities
Provide technical care to patients and receive assignments and reports.
Administer prescribed medication under supervision of a Registered Nurse, in accordance with agency policies and local or state regulations.
Observe, record, and report all patient observations in progress notes and submit notes daily to the Patient Care Manager.
Obtain complete patient reports prior to visits and provide the same after visits.
Perform special procedures or treatments as instructed and supervised by an RN.
Notify the Patient Care Manager and/or physician immediately of any changes in patient condition that require attention.
Participate as a member of the interdisciplinary team (IDT).
Assist home health aides in performing their duties when requested.
Participate in on‑call rotations as scheduled.
Be willing to travel to other offices as required.
Qualifications
Licensed in the state(s) of operation.
Minimum one (1) year of nursing experience and complete knowledge of technical nursing procedures.
Successfully complete on‑site evaluations and competencies within ninety (90) days of employment and biannually thereafter.
Understand hospice care concepts and role as a member of an interdisciplinary care team.
