RN Blood Cancer – Oncology PT
Location: Medical City Dallas, Dallas, TX
Job Summary Utilizing the standards set forth for nursing practice by the ANA and ONS, the RN organizes, modifies, evaluates, documents, and maintains the plan of care for oncology and medical/surgical patients. The role emphasizes individualized, family‑centered, holistic, supportive, and safe care.
Responsibilities Organize, modify, evaluate, document, and maintain the plan of care for oncology patients and medical/surgical patients; maintain patient safety and quality care; deliver family‑centered care; apply evidence‑based practice and support patient outcomes.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
If hired after 6/1/12, BSN required within 24 months of hire into RN position
Current RN license in the State of Texas or a compact license
Current American Heart Association or ARC BLS provider
Effective 1/1/24, current American Heart Association or ARC ACLS provider within 6 months of hire or transfer
ONS Chemotherapy biotherapy certificate course required
