What You’ll Do
Receive and sort incoming orders using established workflows
Independently operate laboratory equipment including but not limited to pipettes, automated liquid handlers, spectrophotometers, mass spectrometer and centrifuges
Follow SOPs accurately and precisely
Follow safety procedures
Handle chemical reagents and glassware
Restock lab supplies
Prepare and package orders
Maintain the cleanliness of work area
Other duties as assigned
What You Will Bring
HS Diploma required
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field (Chemistry, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, etc.) preferred
Experience in or desire to work in a fast‑paced laboratory environment; at least 6 months of work experience preferred
Desire to learn new processes and support a growing team
Strong attention to detail
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Accurate record‑keeping ability
Ability to work in a team environment
Previous experience using pipettes, liquid handling systems, UV spectrophotometer, and/or Mass Spectrometer preferred
Competent in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams, etc.)
Ability to lift 40 pounds
Ability to read small fonts on sample tubes and documents
Reaching, lifting, bending, using a step stool and ladder
Extended periods of time standing or sitting, operating lab computers and equipment while wearing a lab coat, safety glasses, and gloves
Will be working in an area with hazardous chemicals
May have to use hand tools to adjust settings on instruments as needed
