Immediately hiring a Dedicated SOLO OTR Class A CDL Driver in Valencia, CA. We want the right employee to drive with us.

Ryder Drivers are paid weekly.
Hourly Pay: $30.00 per hour
Hours per week: 55–60
Per diem: $50.00 per night (out 2–3 weeks)
Paid training
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Start time: 4:00 AM
Deliver to: CA, OR, WA, MT, ID
Route: OTR – out 2–3 weeks
Tractor type: Sleeper cab
Trailer types: Pup trailer 28', dry van 53'
Equipment: hand truck, J‑bar, door hand truck, liftgate
Freight: heavy touch – glass doors & mirrors
Snow driving experience required
Mountain driving experience required
Uniforms, cell phone, boot allowance provided
Paid personal time off begins day 1 – 80 hours in first year
No lost paid personal time policy – earned vacation paid upon departure
Medical, dental, vision start at 30 days
12 weeks paid maternity leave for qualifying employees
Immediate 401(k) rollover and contributions with company match after one year

Requirements
Minimum 21 years of age
Pass a Ryder drug test
Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check (drug/alcohol verification from previous employers for last 3 years)
Pass a DOT physical
Pass a Ryder road test
Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
9 months experience within past 3 years, or
2 years’ experience within last 5 years, or
5 years’ experience within last 10 years
Ability to follow written/oral instructions
Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures
Important Note Some positions may require additional screening, including employment and education verification; motor vehicle records check; road test; and/or customer-specific background requirements.
Responsibilities
Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and state laws and regulations
Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards, maintaining accurate records and logs
Loading/unloading freight or assisting as required by customer
Perform other duties as assigned
