Responsibilities
Provide nursing care through coordination, implementation and evaluation of the resident’s or patient’s plan of care.
Adhere to the standards of care for the area and maintain a safe environment for residents and patients.
Supervise nursing assistants in the performance of resident or patient care activities.
Follow all center policies and procedures and perform duties as defined by the State Nurse Practice Act.
Required Qualifications
Licensed in the state as an LPN.
Current CPR certification.
Competence in using necessary supplies and equipment (feeding pumps, oxygen, treatment trays, medication cart, etc.).
Ability to calculate drug dosage.
Meet all health requirements imposed by law.
Positive, effective, and appropriate interpersonal skills with residents, families, community members, volunteers and other staff.
Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn company applications.
