Devereux Florida’s Therapeutic Foster Care Program provides therapy, support, and training to children and families in the foster care system. This therapist position is responsible for providing therapy to children and adolescents in foster homes, schools, and community settings, assessing clients, developing individualized treatment plans, consulting with and training foster parents on therapeutic interventions and behavioral programs, and providing on-call telephone support for the program’s foster homes on a rotating basis. Devereux provides laptop, iPhone, and travel reimbursement.
Position Details Pay Range:
$51,000 – $62,700 per year (based on relevant education, licensure, and experience)
Schedule:
Full time; typically Monday‑Friday; covers Hillsborough, Manatee, Pasco, Polk, and Pinellas counties.

Qualifications
2+ years experience working with children or families in need of mental health, behavioral health, crisis intervention, or related services.
Other Requirements
Valid Florida State‑issued driver’s license
Must attend a 3‑day orientation (Monday‑Wednesday 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.)
Successfully pass pre‑employment medical screenings, including drug screen and TB test
