Pay Salary Pay: $54,200 – $67,700 annually (depending on experience, license, knowledge and education).
Essential Functions
Provides direct supervision to assigned staff: guidance, direction, assistance in hiring, training, motivation, evaluation, and discipline procedures.
Performs related administrative responsibilities: maintains monthly and quarterly reports, records, responds to emails and phone calls timely, attends trainings and meetings, and communicates with other agencies, departments, and vendors regarding paperwork, contract compliance, and consultations.
Assures fiscal accountability of all assigned programs and services: develops realistic budgets, works with the Finance Department to meet billing requirements, proactively ensures budget compliance, and resolves fiscal problems immediately.
Develops detailed project plans and logic models to define and monitor program goals and agency strategic initiatives.
Ensures integrity of program and service delivery, compliance, and evaluation, adapting to changes in compliance standards efficiently.
Assumes a leadership role in interpreting agency policies, implementing best practices, and developing outcome measures to ensure quality services.
Develops therapeutic relationships and provides individual, group, or family therapy as needed.
Maintains frequent contact with the agency Care Manager or with client’s parents; provides minor case management if a Care Manager is not assigned.
Advocates for clients and recommends clinical and support services upon discharge.
Interfaces effectively with all levels of the agency and external organizations.
May be involved in planning, organizing, and implementing special events or seasonal program changes.
Maintains minimal productivity level and confidentiality of client interactions within agency-defined standards.
Maintains reliable attendance.
Exhibits positivity, flexibility, and a willingness to take on new responsibilities as requested.
Demonstrates positive leadership, promotes a team‑based work environment, and presents the agency in the most positive light with all internal and external contacts.
Required Skills / Abilities
Knowledge of human behavior and performance; individual differences, learning and motivation; psychological research methods; assessment and treatment of behavioral and affective disorders.
Knowledge of principles, methods, and procedures for diagnosing, treating, and rehabilitating emotional and mental dysfunctions.
Knowledge of group behavior and dynamics, societal trends, cultural influences, and human migration.
Knowledge of customer and personal service principles and processes.
Knowledge of English language structure, composition rules, and grammar.
Computer literacy skills: Windows applications, Microsoft Office Suite, basic database usage, and moderate typing with office equipment.
Strong critical thinking and communication skills for problem solving and verbal interaction with staff, external agencies, and families.
Ability to delegate, manage people, and evaluate staff and programs.
Exceptional customer service skills; work generally performed in an office setting.
Excellent problem solving, time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
Performance / Physical Requirements
Work environment is community‑based: agency office, school‑based settings, childcare facilities, or client homes; includes walking, standing, bending, stooping, lifting up to 30 lbs., and remaining stationary 50% of the time.
Works flexible hours, including days, evenings, and weekends; available for crisis management by phone.
Must drive frequently to attend varied work environments such as client homes and community locations.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Social Work or related training in Psychology or Counseling with an Ohio LISW‑S or PCC‑S required.
LISW‑S or PCC‑S with 3 years post‑independent license experience preferred.
Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR); Evolv experience preferred.
Valid Ohio Driver’s License with a safe driving record and insurance.
Ability to pass a physical exam and drug screening.
