We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at UAB Medical West. As an RN, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the highest level of patient safety. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans, administer medications, and monitor patient progress. Your role will be critical in ensuring that our patients receive the best possible care and outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications
Active RN license in the state of employment
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
BLS is required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire date.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-stress environment
Excellent critical thinking and problem‑solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in an acute care setting
Certification in a specialty area such as critical care or emergency nursing
Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Responsibilities
Assess patient health status
Develop and implement patient care plans
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical history
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
