About the Achievement Center of LECOM Health We are the Achievement Center of LECOM Health, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to providing psychiatric nursing services to children and families. Our mission is to help any child overcome challenges by offering timely, coordinated care through our outpatient department.

Position Description This position provides psychiatric nursing services to clients attending medical appointments through the Achievement Center of LECOM Health's outpatient department. The nurse conducts initial health assessments, obtains physical/mental baseline data for each client prior to a scheduled appointment with the physician, manages client appointments, ensures that clients are seen timely, and handles appointment changes efficiently. The nurse also serves as the liaison with physicians, insurance providers, pharmacies, and referral sources. This position reports to the Director of Mental Health Services. It is a Monday‑Friday role with no weekend, on‑call or major holiday duties. Part‑time interest will be considered.

Responsibilities

Provide nursing/health assessments to children.

Complete all necessary documentation for services, including treatment planning.

Act as a liaison between family members, agency psychiatrists and school personnel regarding medication issues with children.

Assist with coordination of treatment with other service providers.

Assist families in locating needed resources.

Work in an office‑based setting alongside psychiatrists and CRNPs.

Provide quality care to children with varying degrees of psychiatric and behavioral health needs.

Work Monday through Friday; no weekends or major holidays.

Some travel will be required to schools.

Requirements

Minimum of one (1) year(s) experience working in a behavioral health field, with two (2) years' experience preferred.

Additional Requirements

Must have a valid driver's license, current insurance coverage and consistent access to a reliable vehicle.

Mandated Reporter and Safety Care Training within 30 days of hire.

Provide clearances with a clean record, free from allegations or findings related to abuse, neglect, exploitation or other criminal acts against children, i.e., Act 33, Act 34 or FBI Clearance.

Compensation LPN starting salary is $20.50 an hour; RN starting salary is $25.00 an hour; with higher pay available based on experience.
