Manage unit operations, nursing practice, and administrative oversight. Collaborate with the Unit/Department Nursing Operations Manager for shared 24/7 accountability. Recruit, interview, and select new team members; coordinate assessments. Coordinate with Human Resources for corrective action, discipline, and career advancement. Investigate event reports and provide feedback to the Nursing Operations Manager and team members. Oversee shift schedules to ensure appropriate staffing mix. Maintain patient flow oversight and intervene to achieve expected outcomes. Perform Nurse Leader rounds and reviews; identify variances from best practice. Participate in process/quality improvement initiatives to improve outcomes and standard work. Ensure the customer experience is upheld and provide service recovery to patients and families. Qualifications

Education/Training:

BSN required; MSN, DNP, or BSN with graduate degree in business or health‑related field preferred. Licensure/Certification:

Current RN license in Florida or Nurse Licensure Compact; current BLS; advanced certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC) as required. Experience:

Two (2) years of RN experience in an acute setting.
