Position Summary The Major Accounts Lead supports the day‑to‑day operations of the major accounts team, assisting with order management, fulfillment coordination, and client communication. Acting as a working lead, this role helps prioritize tasks, supports team members, and ensures high levels of accuracy, service, and compliance for key wholesale customers.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
Assist with processing and managing orders for major wholesale accounts, ensuring all requirements are met.
Lead daily workflow for the team, delegating tasks and providing on‑the‑floor guidance.
Communicate with internal departments (e.g., warehouse, logistics, customer service) to meet delivery timelines.
Review customer routing guides and ensure compliance with EDI, labeling, packing, and shipping standards.
Help resolve issues related to orders, inventory availability, shipping discrepancies, and customer concerns.
Monitor deadlines and assist with prioritizing workload to meet service‑level agreements.
Support data entry, reporting, and document preparation as needed.
Assist in training and onboarding new team members.
Serve as point‑of‑contact when Supervisor is unavailable.
Special Requirements
Must be able to work overtime, weekends, or adjusted schedules as needed.
Familiarity with routing and compliance guidelines for large retail partners (e.g., Nordstrom, Amazon, Macy's) preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and shift priorities quickly.
Familiarity with EDI, order management systems, and Microsoft Excel.
Strong problem‑solving skills and customer service mindset.
Equipment Used
Computer and office software (Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel)
ERP and EDI platforms
Office equipment (printers, scanners, label makers)
Physical and Mental Requirements
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
Frequent use of hands for typing, data entry, and document handling.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
Focused attention to ensure order and compliance accuracy.
Environmental Conditions
Work is performed in a warehouse environment with exposure to noise, dust, and temperature variations.
Occasional exposure to moving equipment and machinery.
Requires use of personal protective equipment (PPE) including safety shoes and vests.
Salary Range $19.00 per hour
