TILE DISTRIBUTION - 2ND SHIFT TEAM LEAD

Schedule
Night shift: Monday – Friday, 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
Primary Objective
Lead warehouse associates involved in shipping, receiving, loading, unloading, picking, and packing to ensure the function operates efficiently.
Major Functions and Scope
Perform duties such as picking, shipping, receiving, checking, loading/unloading, and/or putaway.
Provide direction to warehouse associates, hand out orders, and assign work to meet daily schedules and production goals.
Train new employees and provide guidance for assigned functions.
Monitor equipment or processes and report problems to the supervisor.
Follow standard operating and safety procedures.
Keep the area safe, clean, and organized.
Perform other related duties as required.
Experience and Knowledge Required
High school diploma or equivalent experience.
At least 1 year of logistics or distribution experience.
Competencies Good oral and written communication skills, record‑keeping, listening, accurate measurement, basic English proficiency, math, organization, training, communication, multi‑tasking, time management, leadership, teamwork, judgment, detail orientation, safety consciousness.
Physical Requirements Regular standing, use of hands and arms, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, occasional sitting, climbing, and balancing. Must lift and/or move up to 80 pounds regularly. Required vision includes close, peripheral, and focus adjustment. Exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, a wide range of temperatures, and loud noise may occur. Reasonable accommodations can be made for disabilities.
