Dal‑Tile is seeking a dynamic RDC Group leader to oversee the warehouse associates with daily shipping and receiving needs.
Schedule
Nights: Monday - Friday 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM
Primary Objective
Leads warehouse associates involved in shipping, receiving, loading and unloading trucks, picking and packing, and ensures the function operates efficiently.
Major Function and Scope
May perform duties involving picking, shipping, receiving, checking, loading/unloading, and/or putaway.
Provides direction to warehouse associates for assigned functions, distributes orders, and assigns work to meet daily schedules and production goals.
Trains new employees and provides guidance for assigned functions.
Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor.
Follows standard operating and safety procedures.
Keeps area safe, clean, and organized.
Performs other related duties as required.
Knowledge, Experience, Competencies and Supervision: description of required education, knowledge, years of experience, specific skills and abilities needed to perform the job on a fully competent basis.
Experience And Knowledge Required
High school diploma or equivalent experience.
1 or more years logistics/distribution experience.
Competencies Good oral and written communications skills, good record‑keeping, good listening, accurate measurement capability, ability to understand and speak basic English; math skills; organization skills; training; communication; multitasking; time management; leadership; teamwork; judgment; detail orientation; safety consciousness.
Other Pertinent Job Information The role requires standing, using hands and arms, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. It may require sitting, climbing, or balancing and lifting up to 80 pounds regularly. Responsibilities include exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, a wide range of temperatures, and loud noise.
