QC Technician (Electrical Test)
Inspect and electrically test control panels in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
Inspect panels for fit and finish.
Continuity checking of electrical circuits and troubleshooting of wiring issues.
Variable frequency drive programming.
Programmable logic controller flashing and setup.
Attention to detail and self‑motivated.
Accurately complete test reports and other paperwork.
Function testing of relay logic and PLC input/output to test drive, motor starters, etc.
Contribute to the company’s continuous improvement processes.
Requirements
Detail oriented.
Good/safe housekeeping practices.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Compliance with PPE requirements.
Ability to read and understand electrical schematics (knowledge of schematic symbols, panel components, and general wiring practices).
Understanding of AC and DC circuits.
Previous control panel building/testing experience preferred.
Experience with 480V industrial panels highly preferred.
Current UL MTR certification highly preferred (includes shift differential).
Proficient in both spoken and written English.
Ability to distinguish colors.
Computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook.
Ability to stand for extended periods of time; work may also require a seated position.
Safety‑Sensitive Position This position is a safety‑sensitive position.
