What You’ll Do

Take the wheel – Safely operate company vehicles (26‑ft box truck, van) and warehouse equipment (forklift, pallet jacks) to execute product fulfillment.

Connect our operations – Transport products between our production brewery and all MadTree hospitality locations, serving as the critical link in our distribution network.

Own the inventory flow – Manage receiving, organizing, and tracking of all incoming materials and outgoing products using proper warehouse procedures and systems.

Keep us moving – Safely operate warehouse equipment and company vehicles while executing daily delivery routes and keg collection across multiple locations.

Build cross‑functional relationships – Coordinate with Production, Hospitality, and leadership teams to ensure seamless operations and product availability.

Position Summary The Warehouse and Delivery Specialist is responsible for managing inventory operations, executing timely product deliveries to multiple MadTree locations, and maintaining organized warehouse facilities. This role requires safely operating warehouse equipment and company vehicles while coordinating with Production and Hospitality teams to ensure efficient distribution of products throughout our operations. They will be an avid MadTree ambassador who lives the behaviors – Connect, Grow, and Give a F*ck.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Inventory Management & Receiving

Work within our ERP system (Ekos) to update daily distribution needs.

Works closely with Packaging Team Lead, Distribution Manager and Packaging Distribution Specialist to maintain and optimize proper packaging raw materials inventory levels at the Production space.

Receive and inspect incoming shipments at off‑site warehouse for damage or discrepancies, verifying goods against purchase orders and packing slips.

Stock, organize, and maintain inventory using proper storage methods (FIFO) and accurate documentation.

Keep detailed logs of inventory movements and update relevant tracking systems.

Report any shortages, damage, or discrepancies to management promptly.

Delivery & Distribution Operations

Executes internal deliveries of product as directed by the Distribution Manager (onsite staff will stock and organize coolers).

Load company vehicles safely and transport finished goods to multiple MadTree locations in a timely manner.

Ensure products are properly secured during transport while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.

Collect and transport empty kegs from all locations back to the Production facility.

Equipment & Facilities Management

Operate warehouse equipment including pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts safely and efficiently.

Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas, vehicles, and storage spaces.

Follow all safety protocols during equipment handling, transportation, and facility access.

Perform general warehouse duties including packing, unpacking, and material handling as needed.

Communication & Coordination

Coordinate with the Packaging Distribution Specialist to align delivery schedules with packaging and distribution operations.

Maintain effective professional relationships with team members across all locations.

Escalate urgent issues or equipment failures to appropriate management promptly.

Company Culture & Professional Development

Enthusiastically participate in a minimum of 16 hours per year of paid volunteer work for MadTree Impact initiatives.

Complete assigned training programs and maintain current product knowledge.

Maintain a valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Perform other job‑related duties as assigned by management.

Qualification Requirements To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Must be at least 21 years of age or older.

Experience operating a forklift, pallet jack, and hand truck required. In‑house certification or willingness to be certified is acceptable.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Knowledge, Experience & Abilities

Strong attention to detail and accuracy for inventory counting and record keeping.

Understands and adheres to varying shipping standards to maintain product quality.

Basic computer skills for inventory tracking systems and email communication.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage time effectively.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills for cross‑departmental coordination.

Team‑oriented mindset with problem‑solving skills and flexibility to work evenings and weekends.

Physical Requirements

Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and climb.

Ability to frequently talk, hear, and smell.

Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 160 pounds.

Ability to frequently reach with hands and arms. Use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.

Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and the ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment

This role operates in a dynamic environment, frequently moving between a production warehouse, delivery vehicles (box truck, van), and public‑facing hospitality locations (taproom, restaurants).

The work environment includes exposure to:

Frequent changes in temperature (e.g., moving from outdoor heat to cold walk‑in coolers).

Moderate to loud noise levels typical of a brewery, warehouse, and restaurant.

Wet floors and non‑hazardous cleaning chemicals.

Occasional exposure to hazardous materials (e.g., sanitation agents), for which all necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided.
