About the Position The Buyer Aide performs entry level purchasing assignments in the Purchasing/Procurement department.

Salary Anticipated starting salary may be up to the mid‑point depending on candidate’s experience and internal equity. The mid‑point salary is $27.89 per hour.

Minimum Qualifications

A high school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) equivalent.

Two years of procurement experience, preferably in a public environment.

Any equivalent combination of education and/or job‑related experience that meets the minimum qualifications may be substituted.

Licensing, Certifications, and Other Requirements

Every person employed by the City of Scottsdale shall reside in the State of Arizona during active employment, regardless of remote‑work approval.

Other pertinent licenses and/or certifications may be required of some positions depending on division/department/section assignment.
