Job Overview The Senior Business Analyst serves as a technical analytics leader responsible for designing, developing, and deploying data-driven solutions that support enterprise reporting, performance measurement, and strategic decision-making. Working closely with stakeholders, engineering teams, and leadership, this role translates business requirements into robust technical implementations that drive actionable insights and operational efficiency.

A Typical Day The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for delivering advanced business analysis and data modeling to support key statistical insights and business performance metrics. In this role, you will actively participate in strategic departmental discussions and provide data-driven insights that inform management decisions and drive overall business strategy.

This role requires deep hands‑on expertise in Snowflake SQL development, including complex query optimization, stored procedure (SP) development, and deployment across environments.

The Senior Business Analyst develops and maintains SSIS packages for data ingestion and transformation, performs advanced data analysis and modeling, and ensures data quality, reliability, and scalability of analytical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Respond to ad-hoc data requests by querying data sources and creating reporting views.

Organize, analyze, and present data-driven insights and analytical findings to management.

Develop and perform complex analytical models to support business decision-making.

Design, develop, and maintain Snowflake SQL code, including stored procedures (SPs), to support analytics and reporting needs.

Manage and support Snowflake deployments, including version control, promotion across environments (dev/test/prod), and deployment validation.

Collaborate with internal and external business partners to deliver enterprise-level initiatives and projects.

Lead and mentor a team supporting strategic departmental and divisional projects.

Ensure analytical deliverables align with organizational goals, culture, and values.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Experience

Strong experience with complex data analysis, modeling, and reporting.

Proficiency in Snowflake SQL development and SSIS packages.

Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable business insights.

Proven leadership and cross‑functional collaboration skills.

What You’ll Bring

5+ years of relevant work experience.

Excellent skills in use of SQL to gather data from a variety of sources.

Proficiency in Snowflake SQL development and SSIS packages.

Highly proficient skills with MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Financial Services and, if possible, mortgage industry experience preferred.

Experience in meeting and presenting to Senior Management.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

Excellent critical thinking, problem solving, mathematical skills and sound judgment.

Lower in range - Building skills and experience in the role

Mid-range - Experience and skills align with proficiency in the role

Higher in range - Experience and skills add value above typical requirements of the role.

Salary: $68,000 - $115,000
