Traveling and Corporate Support Director of Nursing/Clinical Administrator (LTC) Presbyterian Homes & Services Management division is seeking a traveling director of nursing/clinical administrator for its corporate clinical team. This role offers a full-time, benefit‑eligible position with regular travel to PHS sites across Iowa, Wisconsin, and other states, providing hands‑on site support and assisting with corporate projects in the clinical department. The successful candidate will help ensure the delivery of high‑quality resident care and services consistent with regulations and PHS standards.

Responsibilities

Provide interim leadership of Clinical Departments in Care Centers, planning, organizing, developing, evaluating, and directing clinical staff and programs on a temporary basis.

Serve as interim Clinical Coordinator when required.

Assist with training and orientation of new clinical team members.

Plan and lead Clinical Mock Surveys, including maintaining the survey schedule, sending invites, updating toolkits, participating in site surveys, and submitting final reports.

Observe and provide feedback to clinical leadership on opportunities for site improvements.

Support startup for new PHS buildings or acquisitions.

Assist with special clinical projects as assigned.

Travel Requirements

Regular travel to PHS locations to deliver clinical support directly, including day trips, overnight stays, and extended multi‑day assignments.

Travel may include Iowa and other states where PHS communities are located.

Manage schedules to ensure service delivery while maintaining communication with primary office and supervisor.

Travel expenses reimbursed by PHS policy.

Qualifications

Registered nurse with current licensure in all states where PHS operates.

3‑5 years of experience as a Director of Nursing/Clinical Administrator in Care Center and/or Assisted Living.

Demonstrated competencies in health‑care management, RAI processes, quality management, staff development, resident and family support systems, and community outreach.

Knowledge of gerontological nursing, rehabilitative and restorative clinical practices.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic medical records.

Knowledge of state and federal regulatory requirements for long‑term care.

Excellent written, interpersonal, and communication skills; adaptability, flexibility, and creativity.

Willingness and ability to travel to Wisconsin, Iowa, and other PHS facilities.

Alignment with PHS’s mission and operating philosophies.

Proficiency in English (read, write, speak).

Pay Range Estimated starting pay range: $103,251 – $129,064 per year. Actual pay depends on qualifications and market conditions.
