This role requires 3 days a week onsite in New York City.

Key Responsibilities

Design Test Plans: Create detailed ETL test plans, test cases, and test data for structured testing.

Validate ETL Processes: Ensure data is correctly extracted, transformed, and loaded into target systems.

Execute SQL Queries: Perform backend database testing and data verification.

Defect Management: Identify, log, and track defects using tools like JIRA or HP ALM; work with development teams for resolution.

Documentation: Prepare detailed test reports and maintain test repositories.

Compliance: Ensure adherence to data governance and quality standards.

Technical Skills

Proficiency in SQL and database concepts.

Experience with ETL tools.

Familiarity with data warehousing concepts (star schema, snowflake).

Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.

Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Basic Qualifications

A minimum of 5 years of ETL Testing Experience.

Bachelor’s Degree.

Preferred Qualifications

Proficiency in SQL and database concepts.

Bank Experience.

Familiarity with data warehousing concepts (star schema, snowflake).

Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.

Excellent communication and documentation skills.
