Key Responsibilities
Validate data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance.
Design detailed ETL test plans, test cases, and test data for structured testing.
Execute SQL queries and perform backend database testing and data verification.
Identify, log, and track defects using tools such as JIRA or HP ALM and collaborate with development teams for resolution.
Prepare detailed test reports and maintain test repositories.
Ensure adherence to data governance and quality standards.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in SQL and database concepts.
Experience with ETL tools.
Familiarity with data warehousing concepts (star schema, snowflake).
Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Requirement: 3 days a week onsite in New York City.
Basic Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of ETL testing experience.
Bachelor's degree.
Preferred Qualifications
Banking domain experience.
Experience with data warehousing concepts (star schema, snowflake).
Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
