Senior Pastor – Dayton Avenue Baptist Church
Seeking a senior pastor to exercise general oversight of the local church, its ministry, and functions. The ideal candidate will be a spiritually and morally grounded leader with strong preaching, communication, and leadership abilities.
Responsibilities
Preaching, discipling, and shepherding the congregation.
Overseeing pastoral staff and guiding the church in evangelism and community outreach.
Ensuring sound Biblical doctrine underpins all ministries.
Qualifications
Strong spiritual and moral character
Effective preaching skills and communication ability

Associate Pastor – Sunset Community Church A full‑time associate pastor is needed to lead and equip discipleship ministries, partner with leaders for family discipleship, provide pastoral care, and preach semi‑regularly.
Role Overview
Lead discipleship ministry leaders (kids, youth, family).
Oversight of community groups, providing support, leadership, and multiplication.
Develop and equip new ministry leaders as opportunities arise.
Partner with the Lead Pastor to strengthen the discipleship pathway.
Preach semi‑regularly (6–12 times per year) and engage in prayer and pastoral care.
General Qualifications
Committed to following Jesus and personal formation into His image.
Disciple of Jesus who has made disciples.
Qualified to be an elder per 1 Timothy 3:1‑7 and Titus 1:5‑9.
Willing to engage as an active member of Sunset Community Church.
Aligned with Sunset’s theological beliefs and ministry vision.
Excited to pursue Sunset’s mission: “love God, love people, and love our city”.
Education and Experience
3+ years of pastoral leadership experience.
Bachelor’s degree required; seminary degree preferred.
Open to leaders open to non‑traditional paths based on experience.
