Responsibilities

Inventory Management – Maintain an accurate inventory per department policies and procedures and receive/issue inventory accurately through the ACS inventory management program. Budget Management – Forecast and order equipment on a need basis under the supervision of the Director of Equipment Operations. Supervision – Direct oversight of the student equipment manager program for men’s and women’s basketball; recruit, hire, supervise, and terminate student equipment managers. Assist with day‑to‑day equipment operations for the basketball team, ensuring all student‑athletes, coaches, staff and personnel have the necessary equipment; monitor inventory, laundry processing, student assistants, and the equipment budget. Fit athletes for equipment – properly fit basketball student athletes for protective equipment based on NOCSEA and manufacturer standards. Perform other related duties and/or projects as assigned. Salary – commensurate with experience. Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field and three years’ experience managing athletic equipment with at least one year supervisory experience; or seven years’ experience managing athletic equipment with at least one year supervisory experience; or an equivalent combination of experience and education. Degree Equivalency Clause: Four years of direct experience for a bachelor’s degree. Preferred Qualifications: Prior collegiate athletic equipment experience preferred.
