Job Description This role brings a ‘Quality Assurance (QA) mindset’ to the team, and will work directly with QA managers across all domains to manage and oversee testing engagement and support all aspects of the testing lifecycle. The “Test Lead” will be expected to work closely with all QA managers to track initiatives and assign resources from both offshore and onshore teams. The “Test Lead” will work side by side with development and business partners to determine optimal test coverage and ensure high quality and defect free software is delivered to our customers. They will be accountable and responsible for ensuring that test planning, test execution and defect management for a variety of projects across multiple lines of business and technology platforms are delivered and executed flawlessly. The “Test Lead” is expected to be the ‘subject matter expert’ for the business and technical components of an application. The “Test Lead” will review testing artifacts and all required testing activities to ensure adherence to existing testing standards.

Required Qualifications At least 5+ year of experience with Back-end systems/ETL Automation/Hadoop Testing/Kafka KStream/API Automation Testing.
Strong experience with building Test Plans, Test Scripts, using any Test case Management Tool Octane/ALM/qTest
Strong knowledge of SQL with some knowledge of Python Scripting.
Strong knowledge of API Testing
Ability to lead test planning for complex features that span across the platform or multiple teams.
Ability to create and optimize test processes including defect management and reporting.
Ability to create Test Automation Frameworks using any tool UFT/TOSCA/Selenium/SOA Test.
Knowledge of various CI/CD tools such as JIRA, Bitbucket, GIT, Jenkins and Ansible.
Familiar with Agile Process
Responsibilities Participate in triaging reported issues/defects for automated solutions and assist with resolving or escalating them as necessary.
Manage test execution and assist with resolving, communicating or escalating any issues that may result in test plan variance.
Contribute to test data management approach, processes and tools.
Coordinate Conditioning of and generation of test data and ensure data compliance requirements are met on all levels of test environments. Assist in identifying and managing sensitive test data.
Create and manage traceability. Trace tests forwards/backwards through the development lifecycle and back to requirements.
Ensure alignment and sign off for test cases from business and other stakeholders.
Optimizing test suites employing techniques such risk-based testing.
Desired Qualifications Webservices Testing experience, REST APIs and 1H Testing Experience
Knowledge of various CI/CD tools such as JIRA, Bitbucket, GIT, Jenkins and Ansible.
Prior working experience on implementing automation framework using UFT/Selenium/TOSCA/SOA Test.
