This position works alongside other hotel staff in a leadership role. As the hotel shift manager, you will be in charge of scheduling staff, assigning tasks to hotel personnel, dealing with client complaints, and ensuring that all safety procedures are followed. Responsibilities
Designate various tasks to departments and individual staff, ensuring they are completed promptly and successfully
Coordinate and direct workers to ensure high client satisfaction in all service areas
Create performance goals with your team and help them strive to achieve them
Schedule shifts, train and oversee hotel employees to boost productivity levels and ensure compliance
Maintain and ensure that each site is well stocked, order supplies, and arrange the product delivery
Qualifications
Have superb communication skills, organizational skills, and problem-solving skills
Previous experience of 2 or more years managing staff is required
Previous hospitality experience with the ability to perform any job in the hotel
Experience with MS Office and other computer skills desired
This position requires a high school diploma or GED, with a bachelor's degree preferred
Prior experience working with Marriott branded properties in a similar capacity is preferred
Compensation $42,000 - $47,000 yearly
