Program Manager I The Department of Administration's Division of Enterprise Applications is seeking a Program Manager I to join the team. You will lead and organize cross-functional teams as a coach, facilitator, and an agent of change within South Carolina Enterprise Information System (SCEIS). This role is onsite in Columbia, SC.

Responsibilities

Functional Support

– Act as a functional resource for the Logistics Team to provide operational support to SCEIS state agencies, resolve tickets/incidents, simulate user problems, assist end users, and maintain documentation.

System Configuration

– Identify and blueprint new or modified requirements including forms, reports, interfaces, conversions, and enhancements, collaborate with functional teams, and work closely with consultants.

Change Management/Testing

– Identify requirements for system updates, create documentation for each phase of the change/release management process, develop scripts, test, and participate in relevant meetings with the Change and Release Management Team.

Cross-Training

– Participate in cross-training activities, prepare and administer a checklist of tasks to ensure successful knowledge transfer.

Training

– Support the SCEIS Training Team, serve as the Logistics training facilitator, update training material, and communicate changes to users through user groups and communications.

Other duties as required to keep SCEIS applications operational and functional.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business administration, information systems, computer science, or related field with relevant experience; or equivalent work experience specific to implementing an ERP system.

At least two years of ERP experience with familiarity in SAP.

Relevant experience with Ivalua is preferred.

Must have strong analytical and organizational skills.

Must be able to work with and coordinate the efforts of a diverse group of professionals at all levels.

Must have SAP experience or experience in implementing an Enterprise Resource (ERP) system.

Candidate must possess excellent customer service skills and approach to dealing with people at all levels by providing pleasant, professional and courteous interaction.

Ability and willingness to learn and maintain a high level of knowledge of SAP and related modules is essential.

Ability to communicate verbally and in writing and to present in front of a large and small audiences.

Position may require overnight travel, work evenings and weekends, and may require reporting during emergency situations.
