Job Title: Production Manager
Job Description
Manage daily operations of the production floor, ensuring timely and accurate assembly, packaging, and distribution of electrical products. Supervise and coach production staff, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. Coordinate with purchasing and inventory teams to ensure material availability and minimize downtime. Monitor and improve production efficiency, quality control, and workflow processes. Maintain compliance with OSHA and company safety standards. Utilize ERP systems (SAP) to track production metrics, inventory levels, and order fulfillment. Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for production issues. Collaborate with Sales and Logistics teams to support process improvements. Develop and implement operational efficiencies, quality improvement, productivity improvement, and inventory systems. Coach, train, and teach all employees to promote a healthy culture.

Essential Skills
- 3-5+ years of experience in manufacturing or production management, preferably in Wire Cutting.
- Strong cross‑functional leadership skills.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience with ERP systems and production planning tools (SAP).
- Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities.

- Experience in Cable Cutting, production supervision, process improvement, assembly, safety, production management, manufacturing processes, lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, six sigma, production supervision, quality assurance, and management skills.
- Ability to lead, coach, and manage.

Work Environment
This role is based on the first shift, working from 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM. You will supervise approximately 20 people within a team of about 150. The work environment is dynamic, focusing on collaboration and continuous improvement.
Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Chicago, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $80,000.00 – $110,000.00/yr. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) plans.

This is a fully onsite position in Chicago, IL.
