As a Barber & Beauty Professional, you will play a key role in ensuring our residents feel their best by providing grooming services such as haircuts, styling, and other beauty services. You will offer personalized care to each resident, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable experience while maintaining a clean and safe environment. Your role will make a positive impact on their confidence and quality of life. Key Responsibilities Provide haircuts, styling, and grooming services to residents, including special attention to their comfort and needs Maintain a clean and safe environment, following all infection control procedures Foster strong relationships with residents, families, and staff to ensure exceptional service Communicate and collaborate with the nursing team to provide specialized care for residents Adapt grooming services to meet the unique needs of each resident, especially those with limited mobility or other health concerns Ensure all equipment and workstations are sanitized in accordance with infection prevention protocols Must Have Previous experience providing haircuts and beauty services Compassionate, patient, and caring approach to working with elderly residents Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Commitment to maintaining a clean and hygienic work environment Nice to Have Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or healthcare setting Specialized skills in other beauty services (e.g., nail care, skin care) Knowledge of infection control practices and ability to follow sanitation procedures Equal Opportunity Employer We are an equal opportunity employer and welcome all qualified applicants, regardless of race, color, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, national origin, disability, or veteran status.
