Base Pay Range $16.00/hr - $16.00/hr Position Details Facility: Rehabilitation Center of Winter Park Position: Receptionist / Administrative Assistant Location: Maitland, Florida Shift: Full Time | 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Salary: $16.00 per hour About The Role The Rehabilitation Center of Winter Park is seeking a professional and organized Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to join our team. This vital role serves as the first point of contact for visitors and staff, providing excellent customer service and efficient administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations within the facility. Key Responsibilities Answer and direct incoming calls to the appropriate individuals or departments. Greet and assist visitors, ensuring proper sign-in/out procedures and issuing identification badges. Support department directors with administrative duties, including typing reports, correspondence, and other clerical tasks. Provide assistance with payroll and other administrative functions as needed. Maintain current files with resident names, room numbers, emergency contacts, department extensions, and key personnel. Manage and track important dates related to contracts, renewals, and other administrative documents. Operate and maintain office equipment (copiers, phones, voicemail, paging systems). Handle mail distribution and inter-facility communications. Order and track office supplies, ensuring efficient and cost-effective usage. Request and follow up on repairs for office equipment as necessary. Provide general information and directions to visitors, residents, guests, and vendors. Qualifications Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a clerical or administrative role or successful completion of a secretarial science program from an accredited school or college. High school diploma or equivalent required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) or equivalent applications. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently. Professional and courteous demeanor with strong interpersonal skills. Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions during emergencies. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to follow written and oral instructions. Prior experience in a nursing home or healthcare setting preferred.
