We are looking for a motivated and experienced Veterinary Receptionist to join our front desk team. Position Overview As a Veterinary Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our clients and play a key role in ensuring an exceptional experience from start to finish. This position requires excellent communication, multitasking, and organizational skills, as well as prior experience in a veterinary setting. Key Responsibilities Greet clients and patients with professionalism and warmth Check clients in and out for appointments, surgeries, and tech appointments Answer and direct calls using a multi-line telephone system Schedule appointments and manage daily appointment flow Accurately maintain and update client and patient medical records Process payments and review invoices with clients Communicate effectively with veterinarians, technicians, and other team members Provide information about hospital services and policies Ensure the reception area remains tidy and welcoming Qualifications Veterinary receptionist experience required Proficiency with Avimark software preferred Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Compassionate and professional demeanor with both clients and pets Reliable and team-oriented attitude Schedule Full-time position (Monday–Friday, with some Saturday rotation) Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Employee pet care discounts Paid time off and holidays Get notified about new Veterinary Receptionist jobs in Arlington, VA. #J-18808-Ljbffr
