Position Description
Perimeter College is seeking part‑time instructors in AFRICAN-AMERICAN STUDIES who will play a key role in educating and supporting students.

Required Education
To qualify to teach AFRICAN-AMERICAN STUDIES, applicants MUST have a minimum of a master's degree with 18 graduate semester hours (or 27 graduate quarter hours) in the teaching discipline.
Preferred Qualifications / Experience
Teaching experience is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to teach AFRICAN-AMERICAN STUDIES courses on the collegiate level
Ability to teach effectively using a variety of methods
Ability to relate to a diverse student population and facilitate student learning
Effective oral and written communication skills
Demonstrated knowledge of instructional technology

Work Hours
Classes at Perimeter College are offered morning, afternoon and evening including weekends.
Salary
$3,075.00 for each 3‑semester credit hour course taught.
