Summary: To provide a memorable experience for all guests dining in Tonight & Tomorrow or Bar No. 3. You’ll be the face of our restaurant and responsible for our customers’ experiences. Your goal will be to provide high-quality service that will help us maintain and attract customers.
Essential Job Functions
Be present on the restaurant and lobby floor engaging with customers during service hours.
Speaking with guests, or staff using a clear, professional, and respectful language at all times.
Respond to individual guest needs, inquiries, and/or complaints as they occur.
Ensure customer satisfaction with all aspects of the dining experience and/or hotel experience.
Ensure consistent product and service.
Ensure service staff consistently adheres to proper service procedures during operations.
Seek out the latest trends and products in industry and share them with the Restaurant Leadership Team.
Greet and seat guests: Welcome patrons as they arrive, ensuring a friendly and warm atmosphere.
Take orders: Accurately take food and beverage orders from customers, clarifying any dietary restrictions or preferences.
Serve food and beverages: Deliver orders to tables promptly and efficiently, ensuring that all items are presented well.
Check on customers: Periodically check in with customers to make sure everything is going well with their meal, being attentive, and responding to additional requests as needed.
Handle payments: Collect payment from customers accurately and honestly.
Maintain cleanliness: Help with basic food prep as needed, and/or perform light cleaning in the dining, serving stations, or kitchen areas.
Team collaboration: Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages.
Adhere to grooming guidelines and standards.
Observe all legal guidelines and procedures of the TABC.
Thorough knowledge of product recipes, hotel policies and executing guest special requests.
Thorough knowledge of and correct application of all hotel policies, procedures, and practices.
Ability to maximize effective usage of the systems in place and recommend system improvements.
Perform other duties as assigned.
