This contract opportunity offers a specialized nursing role focused on advanced cardiac and complex medical care, ideal for an RN with stepdown experience. The position is based in Elyria, OH, providing the chance to work in a dynamic setting that treats patients with serious cardiac conditions and other medical complexities. Responsibilities include caring for patients with advanced heart failure, pulmonary hypertension, and complex cardiac issues such as electrolyte imbalanced dysrhythmias and tachy-brady syndromes. Nurses will also provide care for patients awaiting heart transplants and those with implantable devices like pacemakers, defibrillators, or Ventricular Assistive Devices (VADs). Experience with pre and post cardiac catheterization, ablation, and chemical cardioversion using medications such as Tikosyn is highly valuable. Additionally, the role supports hospitalist services, adding a broader medical-surgical nursing experience.
