Provide specialized nursing care in a contract role focused on advanced cardiac patients at a renowned medical center. This position is ideal for registered nurses experienced in stepdown care, particularly those skilled in managing complex cardiac conditions and advanced heart failure. Location:The role is based in Cleveland, OH, offering the opportunity to work within a leading healthcare environment recognized for cardiac care. Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive care to patients with advanced heart failure, pulmonary hypertension, and complex cardiac conditions such as electrolyte imbalances, dysrhythmias, and tachy-brady syndromes. Manage patients with implantable cardiac devices including pacemakers, defibrillators, and Ventricular Assistive Devices (VAD). Provide specialized care before and after cardiac catheterization, ablation procedures, and chemical cardioversion using anti-dysrhythmic medications. Support hospitalist services when needed, gaining exposure to a broad range of medical-surgical nursing experiences. Desired Experience: Current RN licensure with stepdown nursing experience. Strong knowledge of cardiac care, including advanced heart failure and cardiac device management. Experience with cardiac procedures and medication administration related to dysrhythmias. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, specialized unit.
