Key Qualifications and Desired Experience: Minimum of 1 year recent acute med/surg nursing experience Proven ability to manage 4 to 6 patients per shift effectively Preferred: 2+ years experience caring for neurological patients including CVAs, TIAs, and altered mental status Competency in nursing skills such as IV and urinary catheter

insertion/maintenance,

central line maintenance, medication administration, continuous bladder irrigation, and NGT

insertion/maintenance Strong communication skills and proficiency with electronic health records (EHR), particularly Meditech Friendly, positive demeanor with a focus on teamwork and patient-centered care Current RN licensure and required certifications Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive nursing care to med/surg patients on a 22-bed unit Maintain patient safety and accurate documentation Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members Perform standard nursing procedures and respond to patient needs on day or night shifts as scheduled Location Insights:Rockport, TX, is a charming coastal community known for its scenic beauty and relaxed lifestyle.
