Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management & Compliance
Maintain accurate daily, weekly, and monthly accounting of all cannabis inventory and ancillary products.
Ensure compliance with all applicable state and local cannabis regulations, including tracking, reporting, and security requirements.
Conduct daily reconciliation of dispensary cannabis inventories and resolve any discrepancies.
Oversee product intake, verifying manifests against incoming shipments and entering all products into the seed-to-sale tracking system in a timely manner.
Ensure expiration dates are monitored and managed to prevent loss.
Conduct regular inventory audits to maintain stock accuracy and compliance with record-keeping requirements.
Maintain strict organization and security of the vault, ensuring all products are stored efficiently and securely.
Manage returns and quarantined products, following proper procedures for handling defective or expired products.
Serve as Agent in Charge (AIC) when necessary, overseeing product transfers, return processing, and inventory disposal.
Product & Vendor Coordination
Work closely with dispensary management and purchasing teams to maintain appropriate stock levels and product variety. Coordinate with vendors to obtain product details and communicate key features to dispensary staff. Build and maintain relationships with cultivators and product vendors to ensure a steady and compliant supply of inventory. Ensure all purchase orders are processed and accurately reflected in inventory tracking systems. Review and maintain all required testing results and compliance documentation for products. Sales & Operational Support
Pick and pull orders for fulfillment of both in-store and online purchases. Support dispensary staff with inventory-related tasks, troubleshooting, and customer inquiries. Work with marketing and sales teams to identify promotional opportunities for aging or slow-moving inventory. Partner with the Dispensary Manager to analyze sales trends, forecast demand, and optimize inventory turnover. Contribute to process improvements to enhance inventory management and operational efficiency. Required Skills and Qualifications Associates degree
or an equivalent combination of education and experience. At least one year of relevant experience , preferably in grocery, retail, or a similar industry with related inventory management duties. Experience with inventory tracking systems, including
seed-to-sale platforms (e.g., Metrc, BioTrack, or equivalent software)
is preferred. Must possess a
positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and self-starter mindset . Strong communication skills and the ability to interface well with
management, co-workers, and the public . Ability to
multitask and prioritize work
in a fast-paced environment with a
high volume of transactions . Excellent
organizational and problem-solving
skills. Strong analytical skills and ability to generate reports to inform ordering and sales decisions. Ability to
work independently , prioritize tasks, and thrive in a compliance-driven environment. The
Inventory Manager
is responsible for ensuring the

product intake, expiration tracking, and stock management
to ensure the right mix of products is available to meet customer demand. The Manager also is responsible for inventory team oversight. Additionally, the
