We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented

Cannabis Inventory Manager

to oversee all inventory control activities within our licensed cannabis manufacturing facility. This role is critical to ensuring accurate tracking, compliance with state regulations, and seamless material flow between departments. The ideal candidate has experience in regulated environments, strong documentation skills, and the ability to manage high-value inventory with precision.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee all cannabis inventory from intake through production, storage, and outbound transfers

Ensure accurate tracking of all materials in the state seed-to-sale system (e.g., BioTrack)

Manage vault, freezer, and secure storage inventory

Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly inventory audits and reconciliations

Tag, track, and organize flower, biomass, concentrates, finished goods, and waste

Prepare and document outbound transfers and coordinate with compliance and logistics teams

Maintain inventory SOPs and ensure adherence to internal procedures and state regulations

Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly

Support compliance audits and inspections by maintaining accurate and up-to-date records

Collaborate with production, packaging, lab, and management teams to meet operational needs

Train staff on inventory procedures, compliance requirements, and proper documentation

Assist with waste audits, destruction documentation, and reporting

Qualifications

Prior experience in inventory management (cannabis industry experience strongly preferred)

Knowledge of cannabis compliance and state regulatory requirements

Experience using seed-to-sale tracking systems (BioTrack, METRC, or similar)

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to manage sensitive, high-value inventory

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and inventory tracking systems

Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team

Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Ability to lead a team

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in cannabis manufacturing or cultivation environments

Familiarity with SOP creation and compliance documentation

Prior experience managing vaults, freezers, or controlled substances

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Ability to stand, walk, and work in production environments for extended periods

Comfortable working in temperature-controlled environments (freezer/vault areas)
