Overview Seasonal Scale Operator position at Skyland Grain, LLC. This is a seasonal/temporary role. Responsibilities Operate the scale to weigh in-bound and out-bound trucks Complete all applicable paperwork accurately and timely Greet employees, members, and visitors in a courteous manner when they enter the office File, type, and perform other office support activities Answer the telephone in a professional manner and assist customers with sales, questions or complaints Keep the work area neat and clean Maintain clean facilities and comply with all state and federal regulations pertaining to a safe workplace and housekeeping Attend training and safety meetings Provide excellent customer service by managing difficult or emotional situations; respond promptly to customer needs, resolve questions, complaints and concerns, and meet commitments Communicate effectively by verbal and written means with customers, employees and management Maintain and promote safety awareness; follow safety policies, procedures and reporting requirements Present a clean and professional appearance Perform all other duties as directed by the supervisor Position Requirements High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
