Key Responsibilities: Deliver patient-centered care adhering to established standards, protocols, and policies. Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to create and implement individualized nursing care plans. Ensure patient safety, privacy, and confidentiality while fostering a respectful and supportive environment. Monitor and administer medications and intravenous therapies safely. Communicate effectively during patient handoffs and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for seamless care. Provide education and emotional support to patients and families tailored to their learning needs. Participate actively in risk identification and quality improvement initiatives. Perform pre-admission testing, blood draws, EKGs, and collaborate with surgical teams for day surgery patients. Document all nursing interventions and patient responses accurately and timely. Qualifications and Experience: Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a current MA RN license. Minimum of 1 year medical-surgical nursing experience; telemetry experience and skilled nursing background preferred. Basic Dysrhythmia Course completion within six months if telemetry experience is lacking. ACLS certification upon hire or BLS certification with ACLS obtained within 60 days. Strong skills in patient assessment, clinical decision-making, and communication. Commitment to maintaining compliance standards and promoting a safe care environment.
