A skilled Registered Nurse with pediatric experience is sought for an Emergency Room assignment in Dallas, TX. This contract role offers a dynamic environment within a busy hospital ER, providing an opportunity to deliver critical care to diverse patient populations. The 13-week position includes primarily evening shifts starting at 7 PM, with every other weekend off and no on-call requirements. Key Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting Utilize specialized knowledge in pediatric and emergency care to assess and treat patients Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Meditech system Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams Adhere to unit-specific dress code and professional standards Qualifications and Experience: Active RN license required; temporary licenses are not accepted Minimum of 2 years professional nursing experience, including at least 2 years in emergency or pediatric specialty Required certifications: NIH, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC Prior experience with Meditech documentation system is preferred Commitment to professional appearance and strict adherence to unit policies regarding dress and grooming Schedule: 7 PM shifts, guaranteed 36 hours per week Every other weekend scheduled off Holiday shifts as assigned by Unit Manager No on-call duties Dallas, TX offers a vibrant urban atmosphere with a diverse cultural scene, excellent dining options, and numerous parks and recreational activities.
