This contract position is based in the Dallas, TX area, offering a dynamic environment where prioritization and time management are essential. Location:
Arlington, TX a vibrant city known for its rich cultural scene, excellent dining options, and close proximity to Dallas. Arlington provides a balanced lifestyle combining urban amenities with recreational activities such as parks, sports venues, and a welcoming community atmosphere. Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care in a 54-bed unit. Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team including paramedics and CNAs. Manage patient care with a 4:1 patient ratio, ensuring safety and timely interventions. Utilize Meditech electronic health records (EMR) to document and track patient information. Maintain compliance with unit guidelines, protocols, and attend rotating weekend shifts. Demonstrate flexibility to support designated floating areas as needed. Qualifications: Registered Nurse licensure with a minimum of 1.5 years of experience in an Emergency Room setting. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently under pressure. Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC are required. Experience with Meditech EMR is preferred. Strong teamwork skills and professional communication. This role requires wearing royal blue scrubs as per unit dress code standards. Shift hours offer a 1 PM to 1 AM schedule, with rotating weekends requiring availability.
