An opportunity is available for an experienced registered nurse with specialized skills in neonatal intensive care to provide critical care in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment. This role involves working on a Level 3/4 NICU unit where advanced nursing skills and in-depth clinical knowledge support neonates with complex conditions. Key Qualifications and Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience in Level 3 or Level 4 NICU nursing. Comfort managing critically ill neonates with diagnoses including respiratory distress syndromes, congenital heart defects, neurologic disorders, gastrointestinal complications, and more. Current RN licensure with BLS and NRP certifications. Competency in EPIC EMR, vasoactive drip titration, invasive line management, ventilator and tracheostomy care, feeding tube management, and complex bedside procedures. Experience with technology such as Alaris and Medfusion pump systems, Phillips monitors, PIV ultrasound, and breast milk scanning technology. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team including intensivists, respiratory therapists, and clinical educators. Responsibilities include: Delivering bedside care with appropriate patient ratios based on acuity (1:1 to 1:3). Managing critical care interventions, monitoring, and documentation. Supporting families and coordinating with healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care. Participating in scheduled weekend and holiday rotations as part of a 6-week cycle. Willingness to float within neonatal PCU, pediatric CVICU, PICU, and general pediatric units as needed.
