A healthcare facility in Arlington, TX is currently seeking a skilled RN with PACU experience to support their perioperative care team on a contract basis. This opportunity is well-suited for registered nurses familiar with Meditech electronic health records and with experience in day surgery, preoperative, or post-anesthesia care. Adaptability and clinical expertise will help bridge the gap for seamless patient care in this fast-paced environment. Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts per week 5:30 AM to 4:00 PM Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive nursing care in the post-anesthesia care unit, ensuring patient safety and comfort Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to optimize patient outcomes Utilize Meditech EHR proficiently for accurate documentation and communication Monitor patients vital signs and recovery status, responding promptly to changes Assist with preoperative and day surgery procedures as needed Qualifications and Desired Experience: Current and valid RN license Proficient in Meditech electronic health records system Experience in PACU, day surgery, preoperative or post-anesthesia care Strong assessment and critical thinking skills in a surgical setting Ability to work a consistent 4x10 shift schedule during early mornings and afternoons Location Insights: Arlington, TX, offers a vibrant community with a blend of cultural attractions, recreational parks, and a welcoming healthcare environment.
