An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse specializing in Emergency Room care at a well-regarded healthcare facility in Du Bois, PA. This contract position involves providing critical, acute care to patients in a fast-paced environment, utilizing strong clinical skills and knowledge in emergency nursing. Location:Du Bois, PA is a vibrant community known for its scenic landscapes and welcoming atmosphere. Schedule/Hours: Rotating shifts: 07:00-19:30, 11:00-23:30, and 19:00-07:30 Typically rotates every 4-6 weeks Every other weekend rotation Day shift option: 3x 12-hour shifts (07:00-19:00) Qualifications and Desired Experience: Current PA or compact RN license required CPR, ACLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale certification required Emergency Room nursing experience strongly preferred Trauma experience preferred Proficiency with Cerner electronic health records system is a plus No floating to other units; focused on ED nursing Applicants residing within 75 miles are not eligible Responsibilities: Provide high-quality emergency care to patients presenting with a variety of acute medical conditions Collaborate xsgimln with interdisciplinary teams to implement patient care plans Maintain compliance with healthcare protocols related to trauma and emergency medicine Utilize clinical judgment for timely assessments and interventions in emergency situations If you are an experienced ER nurse with the required certifications and enjoy working in dynamic healthcare environments, this contract position offers a unique chance to contribute to patient care in Du Bois, PA.
