A critical care RN position is available for experienced nurses with cardiac care expertise. This role focuses on providing high-quality nursing services in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU). The shift schedule consists of 3 twelve-hour day shifts (7 a.m. to 7 p.m.) with coverage every other weekend and holiday rotations, matching the responsibilities of current staff nurses. Responsibilities include: Delivering comprehensive cardiac and critical care nursing support Monitoring and managing critically ill patients post-cardiovascular surgery Collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams Adhering to facility policies and protocols while maintaining high patient care standards Floating within the same unit or sister facilities as needed to optimize staffing Qualifications and Experience: Current RN licensure in South Carolina or a Compact License prior to starting Minimum of 1 year of cardiac nursing experience in an acute care setting Valid ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), and NIH Stroke Scale certifications Experience working with electronic health records, preferably Epic system Ability to work the specified 3x12-hour day shifts and weekend rotations Location:This position is based in Hartsville, South Carolina, a community known for its welcoming atmosphere and rich history.
