Qualifications and Desired Experience: Minimum of 2 years nursing experience in medical-surgical settings Competency in telemetry monitoring Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NIH Stroke Scale certification Familiarity with electronic charting systems such as EPIC Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care to medical-surgical patients, maintaining appropriate RN-to-patient ratios (typically 1:4-5 during days, 1:5-6 nights) Collaborate closely with charge nurses, LPNs, respiratory therapists, hospitalists, and tech staff to coordinate care Utilize telemetry technology to monitor patient cardiac rhythms and respond to changes promptly Follow infection prevention protocols, including proper PPE use Document patient information accurately in electronic systems such as EPIC and manage medication administration with Alaris and Pyxis devices Location Highlights: Situated near Marinette, WI, this healthcare facility offers a supportive environment with free parking and convenient access for commuting.
