Work directly with clients to optimize cost, performance, and efficiency across manufacturing, procurement, and logistics, driving measurable operational excellence and sustainable value Develop and implement sourcing strategies that transform procurement effectiveness, supplier relationships, and total cost of ownership Design and deploy procurement operating models and governance frameworks that align with organizational strategy and market dynamics Demonstrate expertise across supply chain domains including planning, manufacturing, procurement, and logistics to deliver integrated, end-to-end solutions Lead strategic sourcing initiatives including spend analysis, opportunity assessment, category management, supplier evaluation, and cost optimization Manage RFP and RFQ creation and evaluation processes and conduct supplier negotiations to deliver measurable savings and improved supplier performance Collaborate with client leadership to perform current-state assessments, identify capability gaps, and design future-state operating models and transformation roadmaps Leverage large datasets to derive actionable insights through advanced analytics, data visualization, and performance reporting Conduct market intelligence and secondary research to support client deliverables and ensure strategic recommendations are grounded in data-driven insights Contribute to business development through proposal creation, pursuit support, and the cultivation of long‑term client relationships Coach and mentor junior consultants to build organizational capability, analytical depth, and consulting excellence Education

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, Instrumentation, or Civil) and a Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field (MBA, M.Tech, or MS) Experience

5+ years of experience in supply chain and operations projects with demonstrated impact in cost optimization, sourcing transformation, or operational improvement 2+ years experience in leading sales calls with potential clients, identifying gaps and selling consulting work Skills

Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to evaluate complex business challenges and develop actionable solutions Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical and financial analysis into clear client recommendations Proven ability to lead client engagements and maintain trusted relationships built on credibility and impact Experience leading end-to-end consulting projects from assessment through implementation Demonstrated success in procurement strategy, category management, cost modeling, and operating model design Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills with the ability to create structured, data-driven deliverables Strong business acumen and the ability to connect operational detail with strategic decision‑making Understanding of strategic sourcing, supply chain optimization, and organizational change management Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with AI‑enabled business tools such as Microsoft Copilot Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) from a leading business school is a plus Professional certifications such as PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or APICS preferred Experience in automotive, industrial products, manufacturing, or related sectors such as oil and gas, power, utilities, or construction is highly advantageous Travel Requirements

This job operates in an office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, cameras, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times. While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to talk, hear, walk, sit, stand, climb stairs on occasion with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to effectively work and complete tasks in an open office/noisy environment. Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time while traveling in a car or airplane.
