Responsibilities
Lead and manage PMO engagements across automotive strategy, transformation, and operational excellence programs to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with client objectives
Establish and maintain project governance frameworks, standards, and tools to drive consistency, transparency, and accountability across large-scale transformation initiatives
Coordinate and oversee cross-functional project teams, managing interdependencies, risks, and milestones to support seamless program execution
Support the design and implementation of portfolio management processes, including project prioritization, resource allocation, and performance tracking
Monitor key performance indicators, track financial performance and prepare regular status reports and dashboards for executive stakeholders
Facilitate decision-making through structured reporting, effective communication, and proactive risk mitigation
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior consultants, helping them develop strong project management and client engagement skills
Contribute to business development by supporting proposal creation, client presentations, and identifying opportunities to expand PMO and transformation services
Stay informed on industry trends in automotive, mobility and manufacturing to help clients anticipate challenges and capitalize on emerging opportunities
Education
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Operations, Finance or Engineering
Experience
Minimum of 3+ years of experience in project or program management, PMO operations or management consulting, ideally within automotive, manufacturing or industrial environments
Skills
Strong expertise in project governance, portfolio management and transformation delivery in complex, multi‑stakeholder environments
Proven ability to structure, plan and manage large‑scale programs while ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives
Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to assess project performance, identify risks and recommend corrective actions
Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to synthesize complex information for executive‑level stakeholders
Experience with project management tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet or similar enterprise PMO platforms
Demonstrated ability to foster collaboration, manage cross‑functional teams and drive alignment among diverse stakeholders
Understanding of operational efficiency, business process optimization and change management in the automotive or industrial sectors
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and familiarity with AI‑enabled business applications such as Microsoft Copilot
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) from a leading business school is a plus
Agile certification or relevant project management experience preferred
Experience within the automotive and mobility industry, including electric vehicles, connected services, supply chain transformation or aftermarket strategy, is highly advantageous
Percentage of required travel: up to 100%

This job operates in an office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, cameras, photocopiers and filing cabinets.
Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to talk, hear, walk, sit, stand, climb stairs on occasion with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to effectively work and complete tasks in an open office/noisy environment.
Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time while traveling in a car or airplane.

The salary range for this role is $115,000-$135,000. However, it is important to note that at MHP, the compensation range is dependent on geographic location. Individual salaries within each range are determined through a wide variety of factors, including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge and skillset. MHP reviews compensation regularly and may adjust base salaries to reflect market competitiveness.
