Senior Analyst (Electrical Engineering)
Location: Chicago, IL.
Pay Range: $34 - 44/hr depending on experience Contract: 1 year with possible extension and/or conversion 100% onsite in Chicago, IL
Job Description
Performed quintessential analyses including: Reverse engineering of products and services; Determination of critical product or materials specifications and feature/attribute comparisons; Product cost modeling for design and procurement outcomes.
Gain exposure across several industries and clients including: Consumer electronics, Automotive, Aerospace, Global energy and materials, Light/heavy industrial, Medical.
Work in cooperation with our network of consultants to shape company thinking in this area, continuously developing your own knowledge, as well as that of the Firm.
You will be working with Design Labs as part of the Operations practice. Our Operations practice assists our clients in solving complex operational challenges.
Blending strategic thinking with hands‑on practicality, our teams work to develop and implement operational strategies that solve our clients’ most critical problems.
Work closely with our clients and teams on an integrative approach to product development and procurement that considers what customers want, what competitors offer, and what it costs to manufacture and distribute the end‑product.
The team uses several key tools and software integrated with personal experience to deliver impact across several product development and procurement levers including product matrix optimization, complexity reduction, design for manufacturing/assembly, and commercial excellence.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, computer engineering or analogous technical degree required
3.4 GPA or higher
